The Magic of Language

What is different about this course?

Have you ever found yourself using words that don't seem to express what you really mean? Or thought you had understood another person's language only to discover that they had meant something completely different.

If you have, then this course will help you understand why. You will learn to recover the true meaning of words and create clarity for yourself and others - breaking through the barriers that frustrate our natural desire for clear and effective communication.

And as you rediscover the power of language you will learn how to effortlessly influence the experience of others and create lasting change.

Discover the real meaning behind language

It is through language that our thoughts take shape. As we talk, we select words to represent the meaning of these thoughts; meanings that may originate deep within our minds. Yet often, the meaning is lost in the "translation"; where the words become disconnected from the original thought behind them.

During this course you will learn to ask the key questions that will help clarify these misalignments; the questions that will gather the information you need to reconnect a person's language with their experience. And as the meanings become clear, you will become aware of how a person's language restricts their capacity to change by supporting unconscious and limiting beliefs.

In turn, your heightened awareness of the patterns of language will allow you to communicate with greater finesse and precision by choosing the appropriate words to convey your meaning.

Learn the language of influence

Have you noticed how some people have the ability to effortlessly influence others every time they express themselves? Whether they are in a one to one conversation or addressing a large audience, their words take on a persuasive and compelling tone with a seemingly hypnotic quality.

This course will introduce you to the patterns of language that will help you build influence and create acceptance in others to your ideas and messages. You will learn to use words that are deliberately imprecise and suggestive, that bypass resistance and open the minds of others to the prospect of lasting change.
